Summary

Magenta Technology is an innovative technology company developing ground breaking scheduling technology and operating in the private hire and taxi market. We are looking for a B2B Sales Executive to work within our business development team to help execute our ambitious growth plans for 2017/18 and beyond.  This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organization skills, a ‘can do attitude’ and a sound commitment to closing sales and delivering results that drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Sales experience within the private hire industry (desirable but not essential)
  • Experienced SME New Business Hunter
  • A comprehensive network and understanding of the business opportunities which currently exist and those which may occur in the future in the private hire market
  • At least four successful years in B2B sales involving the devising and presenting solutions to enhance business processes based ideally around SaaS
  • Experience of SaaS and Cloud technologies
  • Proven Track record of sales target over achievement
  • Proven ability to manage an extensive territory
  • Effective in using business and social networks to create and exploit contacts
  • Current appreciation of CRM and database methodologies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify prospect needs and use solutions-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of Magenta technology
  • Lead potential customers through the sales process, focusing on achieving milestones and delivering sales
  • Demonstrate the product while delivering business insights and asking questions that develop a business case
  • Maintain opportunity records diligently in the CRM and use other sales process related IT systems
  • Develop and execute sales strategy plans potential accounts within an assigned vertical or territory
  • Conduct sales calls, schedule promotional work, quote pricing, prepare proposals, provide information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates
  • Develop and foster relationships for ongoing value and engagement
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities and other field gathered information to sales, marketing and development team leadership
  • Travel to client sites to conduct meetings, gather feedback and provide consultative sales

  • Sales revenue and margin against target.
  • Sales activity levels against target
  • Pipeline value and conversion ratio
  • Appropriate and demonstrable use of selling skills
  • Maintain necessary levels of company, customer and competitor knowledge
  • Strict maintenance of CRM

Our working environment:

Magenta Technology has two offices in the UK – one in London and one in Brighton, both with close links to our international offices located in Russia.  This role will be home-based but there are regular meetings in our London office which you will be required to attend.  We manage a lot of our communication using Skype and GoToMeeting so being comfortable working in this way is something to think about.
